Does anyone know the visa requirements for someone with US and Israeli citizenship entering Egypt?

I want to enter at the Taba border (I am currently in Israel). Do I need to get it in advance or do anything special because I also have the Israeli citizenship? Can I just enter on my US passport?

I think it is simple to enter Egypt with an american passeport than an israeli one; go to the egyptian embassy and ask for a visa as an american citizen without bringing the information of your dual citizenship. be smart. and if your US passport had already any stamps or Israeli visa, you might not get any from the Egyptian embassy. your US passport must be clear of any israeli visa or stamps. (renew it if you have too)

for any arab country , it is better to travel with an non israeli passport or other with NO visa or stamps from Israel.

You should be able to enter, but I wouldn't. Egypt is extremely dangerous right now with the food riots and the base for fundamentalist Islam right now. I've hear some westerners are not aloud to travel without an armed convoy. Be careful.

id forget this idea if i were you, they are already hostile towards foreigners then add the israeli  to that equation. also the food shortage wont be pleasent, if you insist to go speak english not hebrew in the streets, you are an AMERICAN if anyone asks and leave your shekels, israeli passport and that small hat (forget the name forgive me) at home, wear a baseball cap or something instead. other then that best of luck

i would get special permission from the govt of Egypt.  Egypt can be a dangerous place to visit.  Don't go without an escort.

I would consult the embassies there is Israel, maybe a couple in U.S. and ask the embassies there in Egypt what you must do :)
