different names in different places. Brass knuckles (aka knuckledusters) are commonly seen in American gangster type movies, though there are variations throughout the world on the same basic principle: tekken or tekko of Japan or Okinawa, the cestus of mediteranean origins, etc. Probably every civilization on earth has a variation.
