Does anyone know the whearabouts of a William Green?

Question

Born around 1930/35. Was either a prison officer or warden. Known in the Brixton area. My friend has just discovered this is his father! Help please.

I know a John Green born in the 50s lived in Feltham most of his life.

Does William have a middle name, and is there any other information you can include. I  have done a search for William, and I found lots of them, so as you can see without something like a middle name to distinguish between them, the chances of finding the right one are very remote.

Your friend could try www.192.com for William Green, London, and contact all the ones showing a phone number.

As just me says - a second initial, or confirmation that he had no second name, would make it easier for you since it's quite a common name - just a quick glance at the Electoral Roll for London brought up 42.

There is also the possibility that this guy, now aged mid-70's may no longer be with us.
