Does anyone know were I may find colored contacts with a -8.5 prescription?

Ok so I know I blind but I would really love some colored contacts. Im looking for a certain look and my thick glasses keep clashing with my new look. I was looking for a green. I can't find anything over 8.0 in prescription for colored contacts

Wow.......is there a reason you have not gotten lasic surgery? You may be a candidate for correcting your vision. I don't know of any colored contacts in that heavy a prescription but if you are only going to wear them occassionally, maybe you could get by with a minus .50 difference.

Ciba Vision makes some colored lenses up to -20.00  They are not disposable, though and most likely are custom made.  Research Durasoft 3 Colorblends, Complements, Colors, and Illusions.

CIBA vision's durasoft colours can be fit to prescriptions up to -20.00. It definitely, definitely can be done- a high prescription is certainly no reason not to try.
