  1. Don't get a teacup dog unless you really want an unhealthy dog with tons of vet bills.  If you want a Japanese Chin, go to a local shelter or http://www.petfinder.com and adopt

  2. no such thing as a teacup j*p chin unless you want the runt of the litter, and no "breeder" would sell you one for $150. try petfinder.com or your local newspaper classified ads for j*p chin pups.  get a female, they stay smaller than males, but get a normal one, you will have less health problems and vet bills.

  3. petfinder.com

  4. There's no such thing as a "teacup" anything.  Thats a marketing ploy used by irresponsible breeders to sell unhealthy runts for a high price.

Try shelter or rescue.  That's the only place you will find a purebred dog for that cheap. www.petfinder.com

  5. You may be able to find a Japanese Chin or Chin mix, in a shelter, look on Petfinder.com, or look for a chin rescue.

It is not likely you'll find a well-bred chin for $150, or a poorly bred one for that amount either.   Don't even bother looking for a "teacup:" JC--unless you have an extra few thousand dollars to pay for vet care.

  6. If you go to AKC.org you will be able to find a list of Japanese Chin breeders near you.  A so-called "teacup" is only an undersized runty dog of an already small breed.  Teacups don't usually live very long and tend to have an encyclopedia of health problems.  Japanese Chins don't generally sell for such a small price as $150.  In fact, I can't think of any breed that would sell for less than $500 but you may be able to get a rescue dog for that amount.  J.C. Rescue is listed at AKC.org. too.

  7. That's because no BYB would sell a "teacup" anything for a measly $150!

You don't want a "teacup" dog anyway.  They are usually poorly bred and unhealthy.  Why not just a regular, healthy Japanese Chin?  They are fairly small to begin with.
