  1. The actual "real" Zippo lighter is so inexpensive (18 bucks, or so) that I am baffled as to why you want to spend 6 bucks on a cheap imitation. Buy six disposable BIC lighters instead.

Zippo (the real Zippo) offers a lifetime warranty on their lighters. If it fails to function, send it in. It will either be repaired or replaced.

In case you missed it, the warranty is Lifetime. As in Forever. As in Craftsman hand tools. As in L.L. Bean boots. As in all American manufacturers who stand behind their products.

Can you get that from a knockoff manufacturer?

You get what you pay for.

P.S.: Did I mention that by buying imitation Zippos you are undermining the US economy? Real Zippos are made in Pennsylvania.

Fake Zippos? Asia, perhaps, or the Middle East.

  2. Beside the cash register at a local gas station.

  3. ahh...sweet chinatown -_-

i get fake ones for about 3 bucks

  4. Real zippos aren't that expensive, and they last a lifetime.  Got run over by a car?  Send it in and they'll repair it.  I've have mine for 15 years now and works as if it were new.

Cheap immitations can be found at gas stations pretty much anywhere.  But really, what's an extra 10-15?  You'll very rarely ever hear someone say "My Zippo broke".
