Does anyone know what's wrong with my Daewoo DVD Recorder?

Every time I try to watch a regular DVD on my Daewoo DVR07 DVD recorder, it shuts off after about 15-30 minutes. Does anyone know what might be wrong with it (Other than the fact it's Chinese or Korean or some other Asian country)? I hate getting interested in Talledega Nights right when my DVD recorder shuts off!!!

I had a DVD player that did that.  My buddy was good in electronics so he took it apart.  Although it never actually got hot, there was a small voltage regulator inside that was overheating.  He got another one from radio shack and replaced it, thing works ever since.  Cost about $4.00.  Maybe look around on google or something for problems OR try contacting daewoo.
