Does anyone know what 4 1/2 ounces converted to cups would be?

I want to double the 4 1/2 ounces of white chocolate for the frosting I am making but I think it would be easier for me to just double it in cups rather than in ounces [because it is more than 9oz in the bag]. Thanks ahead :)

8 oz in a cup

im pretty sure 8 oz. is one cup.  so that is just over half a cup.

Well it would be a cup and an ounce.

8 ounces is a cup, double 4 and you have eight, double 1/2 and thats 1, so nine ounces= a cup and an  ounce.
