Does anyone know what High School "back to school night" means?

Back to school night it when the parents can go to High School and go to all there kids classes. They meet the teacher and learn what their child will expect to learn that year.

generally a night for parents to come and meet your teachers, gett an idea of whats going to be covered, and otherwise put a face to the teachers the student will be complaining about in the coming months.

It's like student orientation--except for parents. The faculty talk about what goes in at your high school, etc. And then afterwards the parents visit your teacher's rooms and the teachers will talk about the agenda for their class.
