  1. ■ Hinahanap = looking or seeking

root word "hanap" which means look or seek.

    Example:

Hinahanap ko ang aking kaibigan = I am looking for my friend.

    ■ Siyo = There is no such word in Tagalog, perhaps siya?

    ■ Siya - he/she or him/her

    Example:

Siya ang aking kaibigan. = He/she is my friend.

    Mahal ko siya. = I love him/her.

    ■ Na = It depends on the usage. "na" could be an adverb (now or already) or it could also be used to connect a modifier and a word being modified.

Example: "na" used to mean already or now.

    luto na = already cooked

    punta na = go now

Example: "na" used to connect a modifier and word modified

magalang na bata = polite child
