Does anyone know what I can do to edit a video?

Me and my friends are making videos to put on youtube but we dont know how to edit them. It would be cool if we could add words, and subtitles on the video. If anyone knows what we can dowload, or something probably already on our computer that we could use, please let me know.

You should already have Windows Movie Maker.  There's loads of info on-line telling you how to use it.

Movie maker is the generic movie editing software that comes with XP however not every one has XP you can get real dirt cheap software on line for as little as 20 bucks basic titles transitions effects ... http://www.youtube.com/user/TheJoeCoolSh...  follow this link and you will see a variety of editing I use..
