Does anyone know what I should do?

I am going back to school in a couple of weeks and I don't want to see the people there. They aren't all bad (I still have a lot of friends), but most of them get me depressed and lower my confidence. What should I do to raise my confidence?

  1. You said you have a lot of friends so just stick by them. Also there are a lot of people out there that are just like you. Me for one. Listen if you got haters then that means you are alright and they just jealous. If you ain't got any then there is something wrong. So just say hi hater and move on. You shouldn't have to have someone else tell you that your cool. It all has to do with you and what you think of yourself. Besides, if you have friends in the first place, then you're all good.

  2. Try and accompany those who are good people by nature..motivate yourself by looking at your teachers and brilliant students in the class... Say to yourself...if they can do it...I can do better. This will raise your confidence.

For yahoo answers...try and use the correct category for your question to get effective answers...ur category choice was incorrect.

  3. Hang out with the guys or gals who make you feel welcome and appreciated, and keep your distance from the others.  At least you will see some friendly faces, so just ignore the ones who make you feel bad.

  4. Don't give a d**n about them.

Just be yourself. As they say - changing yourself is spoiling yourself

  5. stand tall with your head up. it makes all the difference. it makes you look more confident and strong. don't let 'em get 'cha down. and smile. it makes you look more friendly. =]

  6. Make a list of what lower your confidence..basically what you don't like about your self and then try to fix them as best you can. :)
