BT have agreed to cease my landline and broadband and remove all held to tem charges.

Can someone please tell me what this means? I have asked them again, and again but had no response.

  1. "Tem" charges? Termination maybe? - it sound like you are ceasing a contract with BT early and they are waving the charges so you do not have to pay to the end of your term.

For example you sign a 12 month contract at £10.00 per month and in month 8 you decide to leave the company. You would owe £40.00 to cease this contract unless the company concerned waives the held to term charges.

BT have never done anything like that for me but I guess it's up to them if they waive them or not. - Well done to you!

    Hope this helps?

  2. How have you asked them time and time again and had no response?  They must have said something to you, if only "I don't know" . . .
