Does anyone know what a live in nanny in California makes.?

I've been offered a live in nanny position in the bay area but I am unsure how much live in Nanny's make it this area. Do they pay more or less to have someone live with you. It's not like I need a place to stay (I own my own home in Louisiana) but it's an interesting offer. Lot's of benefits and the children are so cute. The only reason I am interested is because I love children and can't have any of my own. It's just that not being from this area, how do I even find out what they make?

About as much as a fry cook, but your living expenses are paid for.

what have they offered you?  As a minimum, I would say $10/hr.  But you have to consider how wealthy the family is.  Live-in nannies for millionaires can make upto $100,000/year plus full health/dental benefits and a car!
