  1. well

  2. the disc jockeys  etc had to leave the ship and the BBC took all the equipment off and, now they are restoring to continue transmitting once again. i re-call the radio station very well i also used to listen to it every day and all through shut down and also radio mi amigo , it used to lay at the north atlantic waters.the ship used to be called ross revenge.

  3. I've just Googled it,and the radio station is still going, but the ship is scrapped-It was called The Ross Revenge. Look it up,theres loads on it all.

  4. There was (might still be) a house in Preston with loads of stickers in the window and a few aerials on the roof........................im thinking of radio caroline (pirate station)

  5. Don't know but one of the DJ's from Radio Caroline is my son's God Father. ...........  just thought I'd say........

  6. see the link,

she is still about and does the odd broadcast every now and then,

the last one was not that long ago, radio humberside used her

  7. I know which one you mean, used to listen to it all the time, but I heard sometime ago that it was still being used for the same thing, but in a different part of the world.

  8. They had several ships. The first two were impounded the authorities - don't know what happened to them after that.  The most famous ship, the Mi Amigo, sank in a storm. he next one, the Ross Revenge, was salvaged and I think is currently moored in Essex, and is looked after by Caroline fans..
