Does anyone know what causes my acne?

I have acne but its only like on the sides of my chin, not really on it, just on the sides near my mouth. I try everything, clean and clear, clearisil, acnefree, neutrogena, the wave but nothing seems to work. I'm thinking about trying ProActiv but I just want to make sure if it's right before i spend 40 bucks. HELP!!

It could be something called karitosis pilaris. They are little red bumps caused by dry skin that are often mistaken for acne. I would talk to your doctor, because you can be given some lotion that doesnt clog your pores and hydrated your skin well. I personally, am not a fan of pro active, although it depends on the skin type, it caused my skin to dry out and breakout. Try something such as st. ives apricot scrub, unless you do have keritosis pilair. If that is the case, I would talk to my doctor or a dermatologist.

okay no proactive it sucks use somthing all natural like dr haushka it works a atarter kit is 20 dollars with cleanser toner day oil clay mask and steam bath liquid. go all natural try aloe or tee tree oil it slow but its amazing

Ask your skin doctor and it might not be acne

Unfortunately, acne is genetic.  There's nothing magical to keep it from showing up.  ProActiv is good.  If that doesn't work, visit a dermatologist.  They have a lot of different options for it.  Something's bound to work for it.  Good luck!
