Does anyone know what happend to the six miners that were trapped in a coal mine in Utah a year or two ago?

I heard that they would never be able to find them, but I was just wondering if any one knew?

The Crandall Canyon mine sank six shafts attempting rescue, the last one something like 10 days after the initial collapse. The area where the miners were last known to have been alive was filling with mud and debris rising several feet an hour. There was no possibility of getting the bodies out without serious risk to others, so there they remain. May they rest in peace.

The last I heard was that it would be to dangerous to send any more men down to attempt a rescue.  

I believe they had no choice but to call off the search.
