Does anyone know what happened to CP Lopez, he was kidnapped and slain back in the 90's in Bacolod or manila?

He's an old classmate of mine and for all the news that surrounded that event i cannot find a single article in the internet. I just want to know what happened and why he was abducted. Thanks.

You're quite right.  I cannot find any article either.

It would have helped if you posted the complete name, or the more approximate date it happened other than the 90's.

i vaguely remember that kidnap for ransom tragedy. what i heard was that the brother was the target. i'm not sure if the ransom was paid. a prayer hall in La Salle Bacolod is dedicated in his memory.
