I have looked in all the stores that carried them before like Toys "R" Us, Wal Mart, and Target and I can't find any of them. I even tried searching for Harry Potter LEGO sets using the "by THEME" button on their website, but Harry Potter is not on the list of themes.

  2. Greetings,

The license to make Harry Potter LEGO sets actually came in the form of the movies as opposed to the books, so when the movies come out, so do the sets. It appears from a couple of sources that the last sets produced where the Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix ones:

    Movie (2007):

    Hogwarts Castle (2007):

It looks like the next movie will be HP and the half Blood Prince:

It looks like it will be out late this year, so maybe at the Christmas toy cycle, you will see some new HP sets for that film. I have not seen any new sets information for now.

As for the cycle of toys at Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Target, etc. they usually only last between 6 months to a year maximum. Wal-Mart and Target usually have two big clearances a year, mid year and post Christmas, when they restock the LEGO items for both occasions. So if you find a set that has been out longer than 6 months, it is rare.

I hope this helps, I am curious to see new HP sets as well.

    Sincerely,

    Scott S.

  3. You can try shopping on Ebay with your parents permission if you don't have your own Paypal account. I had found quite a few of them there for you. I gave you a link to one.
