Does anyone know what help I could get?

I'm a working mum of two children, one still at school, one at college, my wage isn't great, but I want to go it alone, am I entitled to benefits for housing, I currently live in the family home, but want to leave it, also I live a distance away from my work, so I have to pay for fares to work, does anyone know what's available please online, I've tried citizens advice online, but can't get the info I need, thanks.

    but also

    housing benifit can pay you some % towards housing costs, depending on your wages it goes down in stages from 100%.

    when you are calculating your outgoings against your incomings, you need to mention the bus/travel expences for work cos they give you the overall NET figure you are left with to lkive on. this is the figure that most of the departments work with.

    you may also be entitled to some from the dhs working living allowances income support or whatever. i know you say you dont want to, but you pay your taxes and youre entitled...and they aint gonna knock on your door looking for you, you have to go to them

    seek citizens advice too
