  1. Pedialite. How long has she been having diarrhea?

  2. give her pedialyte so she doesn't get dehydrated and try giving her some milk of magnesia or something like that. It's very important to keep her from dehydrating.

Never Mind, Don't give her milk of magnesia, try pepto bismol instead

  3. Brat diet, Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast.  Check with doc for over the counter meds.  Use diaper cream on her bottom.

  4. brat diet. pedialite is important too.

  5. Put her on the BRAT diet. Banana's, rice, applesauce and toast. This has been recommended by my kids pediatrician and my sister's kids pediatrician. Keep her hydrated!

  6. milk will give her more of a belly ache. give her water and put her on the BRAT diet it is banana rice apple sauce and toast. that is what the doctors put my mom on after three days in the hospital. it is easy for your belly to break down. u can give her that kids stuff but it has sugar and a lot of other stuff in it. i would just try water. not too cold it might give her a bellyache more. try to get her to lay on her belly sometimes that helped me i have gallstones and any time i have milk or fatty or greasy foods it is not fun. and just laying still on my bed on my belly nice and warm under the blankets helps so much. it got to the point to were i couldn't take any thing for it. and it was diarrhea too and to make this worse i have a one year old and my husband is overseas so i am on my own. she needs to relax that will help alot. put on her fav movie and give her a doll or teddy to hold and sit with her for a while and see if she will fall asleep. that might help too. try to think of what she ate today and that might help too. well good luck hope u can find something soon.

  7. Gatoraid, water or Pedialite. That is what I give my kids.Diarreah can cause dehydration and you need to clean her out Giving a lot of fluids will help with that.

  8. Did you try calling your pediactrician? If not, I've used those pepto bismol tablets and cut it in quarters...give only one of those...it works!

  9. Definitely give her pedalyte and lots of water to keep her hydrated.  Things that are soft on the stomach and soak up any wind or acid are:  toast, bananas, natural yoghurt, salted crackers (in Australia we call them Saladas), rice etc.   Try to keep it bland so as not to upset her tummy anymore.

You could go to your chemist and ask them also, although I was always brought up to just let things like diarreah run it's course.  If it's been going on for more than a couple of days though, I would recommend Imodium (although, you will definitely need to check with a chemist or doctor to make sure it is ok to give at her age).

A little bit of nappy/diaper rash cream on her poor little bum will help to soothe the soreness from having to wipe so much aswell, or you could try Lucas' Paw Paw ointment - that stuff is miraculous!

Hope she's feeling better soon :)

  10. my doctor said Imodium ad,we have the mint flavored one for ages 6 and up. 3 teaspoons first, then after next bowel movement even if its a half hour later take 1.5 teaspoons.Do that 1.5 after every bowel movement unti you reach 6tsp in 24 hours. Thats the limit,no more than 6.As far as the wiping part, I do desitin creamy or vaseline and pile baby powder on top of it.I make a paste. My son is always sick.
