Does anyone know what is happening with bopo prepaid visa cards now that bill express has collapsed?

Unfortunately you can't put anymore money on the card. Bill express, who owns bopo, has gone out of business.

I would check out a Canvas prepaid visa card. You can buy it in the shops which is pretty cool and once you do your id check online your good to go.

I was hoping that this had already been answered! i use my bopo mainly on weekends and when i just went to laod my card with cash i wasnt able to do it. I cant bpay from my bank account as its cash money and banks arent open today. This really sucks

ive actually been covering this on some other forums (OCAU, Whirlpool, Mtekk). long story short, I am very angry, as like you i have basically lost the ability to use the card i got for $25. incredibly frustrated. I have, however, found a replacement service with good fees and generally good feedback from other users: it's called Canvas Card (not sure if links are allowed so google it).

Although I ended up paying for the card, I found a link that allows you to get it for free (I think its meant for ex-bopo members but it works regardless):
