  1. it depends on the impedance (ohms) of the subs, 2 or 4ohms

you want an amp with 1500watts RMS @ the correct impedance

the 2ohm versions will give you impedance's of .5, 2, or 8ohms and the 4ohm versions will give you impedance's of 1 or 4ohms

if you have the 2ohm versions go for the "Kicker ZX1500.1" (or two ZX 750.1 amps); if you have the 4ohm versions you would need twice the amount of wattage needed for the 2ohm versions (1500watts RMS @ 4ohms)

because Kicker amps are not 1ohm stable, if you had the 4ohm versions you would have to wire them to 4ohms (or you could pick another CEA-compliant company that makes 1ohm stable amp (fosgate)

here are the top CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine

    Bazooka

    Blaupunkt

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity

    JBL

    JL Audio

    Kenwood

    Kicker

    MTX

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio

    Rockford Fosgate

    Sony

here is a good site for kicker products

  2. the kicker zx1500.1 is the perfect amp. just make sure your subs are the 2 ohm ones and not the 4 ohm ones and you'll be great. thats gonna be a sweet matchup. good choice
