Does anyone know what kind of beetle this is?

I took some pics of him and he was playing dead because he thought that I was going to hurt him. I think that he was trying to get him a smoke....lol! Kidding. I don't know who's cigarette butt that was.

If I'm not mistaken, that's a Rhinoceros Beetle; named that because of the large single horn on top of it's head.

A very large beetle, that's for d**n sure.

It looks to me like you've got an Eastern Hercules Beetle.  Here's some pictures for comparison.
