Does anyone know what kind of pavers or stones these are? Do they have a name? Please help.

retaining wall blocks; Not pavers.

The difference in price between the big box store ie. home depot and a landscape supply company is usually not really to noticable with the quanity you need. Unless your building a mamoth fire pit.

It looks like Flagstone to me.

they look like any sort of wall system block  . a few examples are below .. here they cost from 2.24 and up

they are the standard 12 inch wall paver you can get them at Home Depot, and they come in red, tan and the standard cement gray, and i don't know about where you live but they are about $1.97 per brick here.

They're called "garden wall block" and can be found at Home Depot/Lowe's etc., at a masonry supply or landscape supply.

They come in several different sizes. I'd think for a firepit you'd want the smaller ones.
