I bought this plant 7 years ago and it has somehow survived this long. It is only an annual and during the frigid Minnesota months I bring it inside. I am afraid this might be its last year because it didn't produce allot of leaf mass this year. It use to bloom red flowers like small geranium flowers. If anyone knows what kind of plant this is I would very much appreciate it.

  1. I think it looks like a type of geranium, too.  Does it have a particular scent?  The nurseries around here (So. Calif.) often carry several "scented geranium" types, which will have varying leaf and flower types as well as scents.  (Some of the scents I have seen and/or grown include orange, rose, mint, apple, lemon, lavender, etc.).   Most of these seem quite hardy and long-lived.

You might take a cutting to a nursery.  They should be able to help you.

  2. looks to me like a pelagoniam

  3. Pelargonium 'Vancouver Centennial', take a look at Yahoo images, I'm pretty sure this is the cultivar. In other words, a form of Geranium
