It's made of low cost steel that is formable, cold workable, and weldable.

So, you are looking at plain carbon steel, probably low to middle carbon. You will be in the 1018 to 1028 range. Cheapest stuff is not too clean, maybe a little excess sulfur, phosphorus, silicon. These can reduce the quality of the welding. It is largely cold formed, so strength is probably about 50 to 60 ksi.
