Question:

Does anyone know what kind of worm this is that attaches itself to you in a river?

So, I like to go swimming in this river nearby... if anyone cares, or if it makes a difference, it's the Yampa. There are these little tiny worms that I really don't think are leeches because their way too small, but they attach themselves to your skin... though you can easily brush them off. They aren't floating around, just in the algae beds. I can be sitting on a rock or swimming and have no problem, but when I drift down the river and hit the bottom, they get all over me.

Does anyone know what they are? Is it something that I should worry about, or is it safe to just ignore them?

Thanks!
