Does anyone know what language and what this means?

Sorry I've never drawn this language before(I'm thinking its japanese) I was hoping you could tell me what it means in english.Its the name of a pokemon called milotic I received through GTS.It looks some what similar to it I guess.

It is japanese. The word is written in katakana as チヨコ (chiyoko)，although it's usually written as チョコ(choko). The word isn't made up, since it means chocolate. Written this way it usually refers to the different kinds of chocolate that you give people for presents, like ギリチョコ (giri choko), obligatory chocolate, or 友チョコ (tomo choko), chocolates that you give your friends.

Yep, that's Japanese! It's written using the katakana alphabet, which is for writing out foreign/made up words.

It's チヨコ (chi-yo-ko) and would probably be pronounced something like "choko."
