Does anyone know what material goods the Salvation Army will take for donations?

Their website says clothes, furniture, vehicles and "household goods". Would household goods include Christmas decorations, toys, books, etc?

Yeah, they take pretty much everything (as long as it isn't junk)!  

If you itemize your deductions then don't forget to make a list of everything you donate so that you can deduct it on your taxes.

yes they will take anything, as long as it is in good condition.

pretty much anything that is in good shape. like clothes, bedding, toys, books, furniture, etc. i'm sure that household goods include what you listed.

The toys and books (as long as they are in good condition), but probably not the Christmas decorations.
