Does anyone know what percentage your car insurance rate drops when you get married?

Mine dropped about 30% but all ins. companies are different. My sisters ins. went down a good bit just by having a kid. They give the married discount if you have a kid. Go figure. I'm responsible and wait till I'm married to have one, and my sister gets knocked up so she MUST be responsible when her kid is in the car, lol.

depends on your age.  If you are younger,  it drops more substantially.  If you are older not quite so much.  If you combine insurance with one company you can see a multicar discount of 20% with most companies.  I have seen people under 25 rates get cut by as much as 50% when we look at what you are talking about but if you are older than that the difference wont be quite as great.  Good Luck and congratulations.
