Does anyone know what programs I can either download online or buy in a store that will let me record guitar.

I want to record it to my computer!!!!! I have audacity for my singing, but the guitar sounds like some alien recording on it, so I need something that will sounnd clear.

I use Audacity to record guitar with no problems.  You ought to invest in good HARDWARE before you worry about programs.   A good mic or maybe a firepod would suit you best.  Also perhaps increasing the quality of your sample rate and sample format (do this by clicking edit, then preferences on the menu, and go to the "quality" tab) to 96000 hz and 32-bit float format.

Honestly i'd worry about hardware first though.
