I am taking a biochemistry class. For our pre-lab assignment we need to find out what types of sugars (ex: if fructose, sucrose, etc. are present) within each of the mentioned natural samples (the corn meal, sawdust, corn syrup, and honey). I have tried doing some digging for the answers but I'm coming up with absolutely nothing. From internet searches, this lab seems to be fairly common for other biochem classes. So if someone has done this lab, or happens to miraculously know what types of sugars are in those substance, Id truly be thankful for the help : )
