Does anyone know what the EXACT requirements were for getting a government "Stimulus" check???

I thought I had heard that you just needed to file a return for 2007 and have an income more than 3000...??? Anyone know what the requirements were??

  1. Check out irs.gov


  2. Not make more that $72,000 and at least $3,000 except for those that receive tax credit. If retired, not more than $40,000 and at least $3.000. You must file an income tax return for 2007. You cannot have any tax liabilities.

  3. Basically, anyone who files a return and makes more than $3000 will receive something, though people who make more than a certain amount will have the amount lowered and some people who make less than $3000 will still qualify. See the site below for a calculator to determine the amount you should receive.

  4. File a return, not owe any governmental agency money, do not have any child support money pending, etc, etc, etc.
