    Employees pay: 15%-30%

    Employer: 85%-70%


  2. It's between 0% and 100%.   Lots of employers won't contribute anything.   Very few contribute 100%.  A fair amount contribute a fixed dollar amount ($100 or $200) so that the people with family plans pay out of pocket, and the individuals don't.

    There's really no average.

  3. I cover 50% of the "employees" share . Example: family of four is $600 The employee (based on age.. say $200). I would pay $100. Insurance chart will show the payments based on the persons age

  4. Most insurance companies require the employer to pay at least 50% of the employee only cost. The employee often is left to pick up 100% of the cost for covering the spouse and children.

    With the high cost of health insurance not many employers pay more than the required minimum.
