Does anyone know what the difference is between a blender and food processor please?

  1. Command of the English language would be the correct answer.

A blender purees and blends items, and requires some liquid in there (or you can burn up the motor).  But, it's easier to pour smoothies & sauces out of a blender .....  I think a food processor is much more versatile, since you can puree in it;  and it comes with attachments for slicing, shredding and even mixing dough!   But, it's messy to pour a drink out of it:) ....  I have a pricey Cuisinart 14-cup food processor, and a cheap $30 Hamilton Beach blender (for smoothies), and that seems to fit all my needs just perfectly:)

  3. What i learned is that a blender blends or purees or does other grinding  techniques. A food prossesor mized sauces and other foods and seosonings.
