Does anyone know what the name of an old toy that when you open it another smaller one is inside it and so on?

Матрешка-a national russian old toy that means a lot to Russia.On this wood figure it is(actually it Should Be)painted a girl (from old times ) .I have 3 matrioshky.And now i saw that people drawing in place of russian girl a face of a president or of an artist---that is soooo awfull.And the most discusting thing is that in 2007 a country next to Russia have made trush urns in form of Matrioshka--that made soo angry russian people and president,that this country has exterminate all these trush urns.

These go by lots of names. Russian nesting dolls is a popular name for them in the US, but other names include Babooshka dolls, or Matryoshka dolls.

Those are nesting dolls. You can purchase the cheap ones online. I bought some in Germany for over $1000 so they get expensive.
