Does anyone know what these bugs could be called?

Question

last night there were like 5 of them flying around by my front door, but the porch light. they're ugly and brown and small, but not too small. [maybe a centimeter + long]. they are very attracted to light and i only see them at night. they run into walls and ceilings all the time and you can hear it when they do. they look like some sort of beatle maybe?

well if you have them too or know what they might be called then please let me know!

they sound like june bugs, they are a brownish color and they have a harder shell thats why you can hear when they hit things.  here is a site with pics everythingabout.net/articles/biology/ani...
