:( well I had an unpleasant experience in a beach in Naragansett, Rhode Island & my friends and I kept getting attacked by these small, clear with a couple of specks, & similar to the size a bit larger than a grain of sand ocean bugs that hurt a good amount. They stick to your skin until you pull them off & when you examine them closely, you can see a tiny needle-like thing coming out of them :Z Please educate me on what this painful pest is! thanks :)

  1. Sand Fleas

  2. Im not too sure but the same thing happened to my cousin a few months ago in Galviston TX

  3. I'm no expert but I'd guess jellyfish?

It's unusual for jellyfish that small to have stingers this side of the Atlantic and you gave a very accurate description that might be valuable to a marine biologist. Your local university might be more interested than Yahoo-ers!
