could someone please tell me what is the name of the gem stone that this company uses as its logo. its the one that looks like shells.

  1. cfpops is right. It is not a gemstone, but the shell of a cephalopod, dissected transversely. It could be Nautilus, but I am not sure. Nautilus has simple septa, whereas the image appears to have a crumpled one. But it is undoubtedly the shell of a class of animal called Cephalopoda, belonging to Phyllum Mollusca.
