  1. I found that my horse use to do this when he was by himself in the float so i tried floating him with a companion horse ( one that floated really well ) after that I had no problem with him scrambling and I know some people hate this but I always make sure that they have a good supply of lucerne to last the journey it helps stop the boredom and takes their mind off any stresses plus its stops my other horse eating my float.

  2. I have owned both straight loads as well as the slant loads and I have noticed that the stant loads keep the horses on their feet better.  Also I do not want to insult the drivers of these trailers but it might help if the corners were taken with a little more caution and less speed, just a thought, but might be something to look into.  If the floor of the trailer is the least bit slippery with manure and urine it would be a good idea to have the thick rubber cow mats down.

  3. I assume you are talking about a trailer?  And an angle scrambler would be slant load?  Then yes, an angler would do better for a float screambler.  I think that made since.  hmm.  But a Slant load trailer prevents a horse from moving around to much and kind of stabilizes them so you might want to try that.

  4. I used to have a bad scrambler.  I found a way to fix it easily and quickly - I just tied the divider over, giving her the full width of the trailer to spread her hind legs out in and/or stand at a slant.  This worked great every time and the only drawback is that it turned my 2 horse trailer into a one horse trailer.
