Does anyone know what type of cactus grows in south carolina that get really big?

we were camping in a campground in south carolina and they had these huge cactuses growing all around and they were beautiful. i would like to know the name of these to see if they will grow in my yard at home.

That is interesting--I thought that cacti always needed a very arid environment...why don't you ask the campground director...

It would probably help if you had some kind of a description.... But it must have been pretty impressive for you to ask about it.   I hope you find what it is called.
