Does anyone know when FAFSA checks are going to come in?

Will they be coming in before school starts? If anyone knows a specific week that would be great.

-i go to school in southern california- dont know if that makes a diff.

Most schools don't disperse until a few weeks after school starts... especially if you are a freshman.  Even later if you did your fafsa late and after the published deadline.

It really depends on the campus.  Your Award Letter and the school's Financial Aid Handbook should give you and idea of when your funds will be disbursed. Otherwise contact your financial aid office, they are the best source for this information.

Each state and each campus may disburse differently. Your Award Letter should have the schedule of when your funds will be made available to you. Check your financial aid handbook as well. If that doesn't answer your question(s) contact your financial aid office.
