Rugby is on all year round ...basically when the Season finishes in the Northern Hemisphere, the season begins in the Southern Hempisphere

the best channel to watch it on is Setanta Sports.  Its a specialty channel so it costs $7 a month or something but its worth it, they show Currie Cup, Heinekin Cup, Super 14 and test matches.  Fox World Sports shows some but not much

The other option is what i did in Canada, sign up to mediazone.com.  $85 for 375 games over a calendar year.  If you can plug your laptop into your tv its a better option coz you can watch games whenever, you can stream them, download them live or 6 months after.  No software either, it all plays through windows mediaplayer

The Churchill Cup is going on right now in America.  Depending on where you live, you could go see a game live.  I know Setanta will be carrying it, along with all of the other rugby that is going on right now.  ESPNU and/ or ESPN Classic will also be showing some of the games.  You could also contact your local rugby team to find out when the nearby 7's tournaments are.
