Does anyone know when desperate housewives will be returning to c4? (UK)?

I know that channel 4 said they would be doing the next season of desperate housewives the same time as america and i think it starts on abc there on the 28th september. I think theres about 7 or 8 uk episodes left and they said they would be airing in the autumn but how are they going to show them all in time for the next season starting on the 28th if they are doing it the same time as america. I am not sure when it will be coming on but I am not even planning on watching it this season. I saw previews for it and it looks stupid! Did you see the last one for last season? When at the end it was like 10-15 years into the future? That's how the whole season is going to be like this year. I hate to say it but I think this is the end of Desperate Housewives, which sucks!
