Does anyone know when public schools start back this year?

does it start on september 2nd,3rd, or 9th??? please be SURE when u answer this question...

schools here in south GA started back on the 4th of August. It depends on your area.

As you can tell, it depends on where you live. Some places have already started back; I just read one questions where the kid isn't starting until Sept. 5. As you can see, that's as sure as we can be.

it depends on where u live in what grade u are in.

for example in my school [in new york] school starts sept 3 for kindergarten, sept 4 all middle schoolers &  9th & 10th grade goes back and sept 5 everyone attends at the highschool

It all depends on the state, every school starts at different dates. Schools here start right after labor day, some start before.

Depends on the area you are in. In Tangipahoa La the schools start Friday August 8th. The best way for you to answer this question is to call your local public school and ask. We can't answer when it starts in your area unless you tell us where you are.

It depends on your school district. Where I live, in Washington, school starts on the 2nd of september, but some of the other schools in other districts  start on a different day. I suggest searching your school district, and there's a good chance that the home page will tell you when classes resume.

Or, if your school doesn't have a website, you can call the school, or the bus garage because there's a good chance that they'll know.

It depends on where you live and even then what school you go to. If you're school has a website then I would suggest checking it and if not then try the school district. If all fails I would just ask around the neighborhood or people you know.

It depends on your school district - each chooses their own schedule.  In my district, it starts on August 11th...in the next district over, on August 14th.  I don't know of anywhere in my part of the state that starts later than the 20th.

It just all depends - go to your school district website, choose your school, and click on "Calendar".  It'll tell you what you need to know.
