Does anyone know when the 08/09 new boards come out from the companies like Academy, Rome, and Burton?

As said above most companys ship products out in September. You can usually get Ride and K2 stuff in late August though. Good luck with the riding.

Alot of the shops and stores have the catalogs already and there are resorts demoing the new gear and hardgoods right now. But you will not probably see anything on the shelves and online til August-September timeframe. Unless you are in Europe or Asia which usually gets stuff a few months before the States do.

Many companies start shipping product to dealers around the second week of September.  Pre-orders are usually taken in February or March.  I don't have any specifics about these three companies you listed.
