Does anyone know when the next ipod classic is comming out?

I want to buy one, but im not sure if I should wait.

Apple isn't known for announcing new models or updates very long before the products are actually released. The 6th generation was released in early September last year, the 5th generation update had been released around the same time the year before and the 5th generation itself had been released in early October the year before that. If you're concerned about getting the latest model, wait until at least September to October, given the history.

Well, knowing apple there going to refresh there line of Ipods sometime in September because they always come out with New Ipods in September. If you cant wait to get an Ipod Classic then get one now but if you cant wait and want the most current Ipods then wait untill september. I was in this same situation. I wanted to buy an Ipod Touch for my birthday on Aug. 1 but i knew apple was going to make a new ipods very soon. I couldnt wait any longer and just bought the current ipod touch even earlier than my bithday, lol. So its up too you, if you can wait then wait for the new ones, but if you cant wait, just get the current ipod classic.
