I am a former chef, and for all your trouble you might be best to research it on the internet and make your own they are not hard and think of it this way, once you have perfected them, you have an alternate Xmas gift idea.

But if you can find a decent German bakery in Kansas City MO or KS, the only place that might have them in St Louis, there are 2 German bakerys there I am aware of.
