Does anyone know where I can buy a train diner carriage from in the UK?

Preferably North West. I'm looking to start a business and would like to get hold of an old carriage to set up a restaurant. Any train enthusiasts out there??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is booth's of rotherham where they scrap railway loco's,etc.

There's so many different types of buffet/restaurant cars about, would have thought the best compromise between maximum customer seating and minimum kitchen size.

You could buy a more recent carriage and paint it in old livery colours. The best place could be Eastleigh, Hants; or preserved steam railways to see if they know.

Too answer your crazy question... yes there is! for a matter of fact just the other day i went to an auction in wales, 'cardiff' and they sell things like: ex military, fire engines, boats/ships, trains... you name it!
